Star Trek

I love Star Trek - especially the original series. This weekend TVLAND at night is broadcasting all Star Trek. The crew wore uniforms. It sems to me the uniforms were not even utilitarian as most uniforms. I'm not even sure if they had pockets. They were ok, although the women had very mini uniforms. Minis weren't even in style then. Was it sexism? Or just a glimpse of the future as the rest of the show? Or was it to achieve higher ratings? The Vulcans had interesting fashions. I love the long flowing gowns.

I find it interesting so many of the clothes of the beings from other planets, galaxies, or solar systems had similar fashion.

Ooops - Star Trek is on NOW!!! I'm going to watch!

Live long and prosper.

Prada

Shoes! We all love lots of gorgeous shoes. How many of us can compete with the numbers of shoes that Imelda Marcos had in her famous collection?

The pumps at the right are by Prada - you know, as in 'The Devil Wears Prada'.

These are simply must-have shoes! Suede, platform, open toes, and a perfect buckle.

Find then at Neiman Marcus.

For Target lovers, try these fabulous peep toe, platform pumps. The sexy pleated swirls give great style to this shoe. Open, or peep toes were made desirable by Joan Crawford in the 1940s. It's classic.
