We are organizing a Fashion Show including drumming, dancing, food
and much more!

Would you like to participate?  We are looking for folks (volunteers) 
to model the clothes (this is an attitude optional, no barbies allowed
fashion show =)

We are also looking for help with prep: outreach, set-up, slide presentation,
coordinating refreshments.  

This is going to be a lot of fun! Mark your calender to participate or attend!

This is a great opportunity to see and purchase fabulous and unusual items,
hear good music, meet new people, have a great time!

Fair Trade ensures people work for fair wages
and have decent treatment globally.

Fashion is Everywhere

Fashion is everywhere, clothes, furniture, books, movies, cars, brands, colors, everything and everyplace.

There are new fashions every season. There are even fashions in blogs and web sites. Take this blog for example. I would love to change the layout, but I can't. Google has decided the layout fashions I can use - my choice of one of their fashions. I can't even change colors!! OK, I can change the color of the text, like this, which is not a whole lot.

What is real fashion? It's a sense of style. Many want the elusive 'something' which we all recognize when we see it. Youn can learn to have your own style easily.

You may already recognize that one does not 'have' to follow the fashion dictates of any so-called expert. They just want to sell product!

What's your opinion? Should we all listen to the fashion police? Or make our own choices?
