The Staple - Jeans for Men

Do you remember the time when jeans were called dungarees? Generally made by Wrangler or Lee? We've come a very long way. Jeans are not the staple of every wardrobe, no matter what the size or age.

Take a look at the pics from Calvin Klein for the jean line. It's pure sex being sold. Not that many years ago you would only find pics like this between the covers of Playboy or some such publication, hidden from any and all children.

Nowadays these ads, not just Calvin Klein, are found all over, although Calvin Klein is certainly the star.

Calvin Klein makes great jeans and t-shirts. They are the best fitting jeans around. The quality of the denim is the best also. The t-shirts are a good fit, with really good colors. The t-shirt fabric is not the usual fabric as one might find in the less expensive lines. It's excellent quality. Both wash and wear well.

Oscar Fashions

You may have noticed Oscar night fashions have been totally ignored. Some people consider them very important, others consider them very newsworthy. Many people want to wear copies in their price range of some of the fashions.

All the clothes worn are the style of others - the ones wearing them. Sometimes the clothes although expensive, are just ugly. Some are fabulous. They are all designed to get attention. Attention rates mention in the press. Publicity, good, bad or indifferent is the life blood of Hollywood. A mention in the press is advantageous. A mention with a few sentences or paragraph is better. Even better is a pic while best is the headline.

All of these clothes are someone else's style.

Be bold - develop your own style. It doesn't mean custom made clothes, or expensive clothes. A dress for $10,000 is not necessary. Find your own 'look', your own style. Valentine's Day - For Her

A valentine's gift for her always seems to be an issue for the guys. They usually find shopping difficult for starters. Then it's a question of what gift. The wrong gift can trash a relationship. For example, if you are in a serious relationship, and all your guy does is send a card, that's bad news.

There are some standards guys can always give as a gift.

The first is flowers. Depending on the relationship, and finances, whether its daisies or roses. If roses, it better be the correct color - red. If she has a daughter, flowers for her too are a must do. These can be pink or white.

Next is perfume. Perfume can be more difficult as there are so many scents. Every woman and girl has her favorite. You might recognize the scent at the counter. It's safer to look at her perfume bottles or ask a friend.

If the relationship is about sex (yes, there are still those), perhaps sexy lingerie.

Jewelry is always good. Be careful again to get the right piece. If you are very very serious, this is a good time for an engagement ring. Putting it in a box of flowers is a nice touch.

A dinner in a quiet, romantic, out of the way place is really nice. Top it off with a bottle of champagne, and perhaps jewelry or perfume.

A weekend away to a romantic place is a fabulous surprise, and very non traditional.

Valentine's gifts are not practical - don't give a toaster or towels. That's an insult.
